Well now-
As I have mentioned before in this blogthatnobodyreads, there have been quite a lot of changes in the OJABOM camp. I am currently on the eastern coast of the United Flakes for the purposes of employment. -Hey, if you want Kimbockleophonic audio in this dimension, somebody has to fund it, right?
My good friends Hiram Glyphics and Oily Dave (and the rest) are still based in America's High-Five (that's Michigan, for those still speaking 20th century Ambush.. er English).. so needless to say, Shrimpanzee is once again on an indefinite hiatus. I hate when these sorts of things happen, but the economic situation in the Metro Detroit City Area is downright dismal.
Fortunately for us all, the pan-dimensional Kimbockleophonic bacteria that causes us to obsessively dabble in music (if not completely immerse ourselves in it) are still in all of us and are stronger than ever. I have been working directly with the Ethereal One whilst travelling the nocturnal hibernation spaceway and I must say that the Web Of Hernandez has bigger plans for us than we ever imagined!!!
It turns out that this winter is not for active audio at all- I have been informed by the W.O.H. that this is the season for Somnambulant Jubilation. In other words, we are being supercharged for the future while we go about our non-musical activities between now and spring 2010. We have been instructed to enjoy this down-time and to celebrate all the non-musical aspects of our lives.
When the time is right, the Web Of Hernandez will instruct the Ethereal One to wake us up, and after receiving our new instructions, a new age of hyper-productive Kimbockleophonic audio will dawn!
This new era will be the beginning of the transition that will lead us all up to a new level that will coincide with the end of the Mayan calendar in 2012. Don't worry, this event does not mean the end of the world. It means the end of the world as we know it.. and if you haven't noticed, the world as we know it has not been doing very well.
At this point, we are not certain which Kimbockleophonic ensembles will be activated.
It could any one or more of the following:
- Shrimpanzee
- Nomeus Music
- Pet Minotaur
- Trick Of Shadow
- Uneasys
- Norville Flatfields' Saturday Night Bingo Party
That's right, major changes are just around the corner and life on this planet will never be the same again (seriously, who in their right mind would want it to stay the same???).
In the meantime, enjoy your family time over the upcoming Holy Daze and keep your noses clean as we stand to inherit this planet (finally!!!).

by the way.. I must give credit where credit is due:
The first person I have ever heard refer to Michigan as "America's High Five" is Coffeana's own Eric Mullins. Go visit him in Laverne & Shirley's hometown if you're over in that part of the world.
